About Road America

Road America is a 4.048-mile (6,515-meter), 14-turn permanent asphalt road course located near Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, USA, within the rolling hills of the Kettle Moraine. Opened in 1955, it is considered one of the premier road racing venues in North America and earns the nickname America's National Park of Speed. The circuit hosts events for the IndyCar Series, IMSA SportsCar Championship, MotoAmerica Superbike Championship, SCCA National Championship, GT World Challenge America, and Trans-Am Series, among more than 400 annual events. The current layout has changed little from its original 1955 configuration, making it one of a handful of road circuits in the world still racing in its original form.
