Gear

What we run at the track.

Pace needs nothing but your phone. This is the short list of hardware that makes it better — chosen because we run it, not because it's a catalog.

Precision GPS

Pace records a paired RaceBox natively — 25 Hz, sub-meter GPS and high-rate motion, straight into your session.

RaceBox

The one we race with.

RaceBox Micro

Tiny 25 Hz GPS + motion, with onboard memory

Small enough to tuck anywhere on the car, with onboard recording — so Pace backfills any Bluetooth gap after the session and a dropout never costs you laps.

RaceBox

RaceBox Mini S

The standalone box, with display and memory

Same 25 Hz precision in the classic box with its own screen and onboard memory. Pace's Bluetooth-dropout backfill works here too.

RaceBox

RaceBox Mini

The affordable way into 25 Hz

The entry point to timing-grade GPS. Pairs and records natively in Pace like its siblings — it just has no onboard memory, so keep the phone close for a clean Bluetooth link.

Engine data (OBD-II)

Plug into a full-size car's OBD port and Pace layers RPM, throttle, and coolant temp onto the session — live on stream and in the replay.

OBDLink

OBDLink MX+

The proven OBD-II adapter

Fast, reliable, and well supported — the adapter to buy if you're adding engine channels to your sessions. Cars with an OBD-II port only; karts and quarter midgets don't have one.

Phone mounts

The mount matters more than people think: Pace records on the ultra-wide lens specifically because stabilizer hardware resonates under chassis vibration — a rigid mount is the other half of sharp footage.

Tackform

Tackform Enduro Suction Mount

All-metal windshield mount, zero flex

Metal arm, metal ball joints, a 3.5-inch replaceable suction pad, and no plastic to flex — the vibration-free hold that keeps footage sharp when the car isn't smooth. The short arm is the one to get; long arms sway.

Quad Lock

Quad Lock Suction Windscreen/Dash Mount

One-twist mounting, seriously strong suction

The case-based system: twist the phone on and off in a second between sessions, with suction engineered for extreme heat and cold. Needs a Quad Lock case or their universal adaptor on the phone.
