About Monza
Autodromo Nazionale Monza is a 5,793-meter asphalt road course located within the Parco di Monza, north of Milan, Italy. Opened on September 3, 1922, it is the oldest circuit on mainland Europe and the world's third purpose-built motorsport venue. The 11-turn layout features long straights and high-speed corners, producing near-full-throttle laps in Formula 1, earning the venue its designation as the Temple of Speed. Monza has hosted the Italian Grand Prix annually since 1949 and accommodates a broad calendar of international series.
