About Losail Intl. Circuit
Lusail International Circuit is Qatar's premier motorsport venue, a 5.419 km, 16-turn asphalt circuit located in Lusail, north of Doha, Qatar. The FIA Grade 1 and FIM Grade A facility hosts Formula One's Qatar Grand Prix, the MotoGP Qatar Grand Prix — the world's only permanent night race in Grand Prix motorcycle racing — and rounds of the FIA World Endurance Championship. Constructed in under a year at a cost of US$58 million and opened in 2004, the circuit underwent a major expansion in 2023 including the world's longest Formula One pitlane building and increased grandstand capacity to 52,000.
