About Linkopings
Linkopings Motorstadion, also known as Sviestad Motorstadion, is a multi-discipline motorsport facility located in Hackefors on the south-east outskirts of Linkoping, Sweden. Established in 1965 as a traffic training ground ahead of Sweden's 1967 conversion to right-hand traffic, the site has since been developed into a multi-use complex hosting speedway, track racing, road racing, rallycross, motocross, and karting. The speedway stadium hosted the FIM Speedway Grand Prix of Sweden from 1995 to 2000.
