About Korfez Pisti
İzmit Körfez Circuit (Körfez Yarış Pisti) is a 1.95 km, 9-turn asphalt motor racing circuit located in Körfez district, Kocaeli Province, Turkey, approximately 17 km west of İzmit. Inaugurated in 1993 as Turkey's first purpose-built asphalted race circuit, the facility is operated in partnership with the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED) and hosts national track championship events, karting, drift, rallycross, and driver training programmes around the shores of Fener Lake.
