About Korean Intl. Circuit
The Korea International Circuit is a 5.615 km (3.489 mi) asphalt motorsport complex located in Yeongam, South Jeolla Province, South Korea, near the port city of Mokpo. Designed by Hermann Tilke, the FIA Grade 1-homologated facility hosted Formula 1's Korean Grand Prix from 2010 to 2013 and continues to host the Superrace Championship and other domestic motorsport events. The circuit features 18 turns across a layout combining a conventional permanent section with a temporary harbour-side stretch.
