Map and circuit history of Kemora Circuit, Finland

Kemora Circuit opened in 1983 as a short 0.9 mile course but was extended to its present 1.6 mile configuration in 1987. While still relatively small, it is a well-used circuit and boasts good facilities for spectators. A resurfacing in 2005 has helped ensure the track remains smooth and well-maintained, despite the harsh Finnish winters.

Alongside the main straight of the extension sits a 3,000 seat grandstand which offers good views of the whole circuit, while viewing areas above the pits offer similar views for a further 1,000 spectators. A cafeteria alongside the paddock provides a variety of meal options, while the track also has its own sauna. Conferencing facilities are available for up to 80 delegates.

As well as the main circuit, the track also boasts rallycross and supermoto tracks, a karting facility as well as a wet-handling course. In the winter the main track is used as a snowmobile motocross track.

The circuit hosts races of the Finnish national 'Rata-SM' championships, as well as historic races and events organised by the local motorcycle club.
