About Junction Motor Speedway
Junction Motor Speedway is a 3/8-mile (603 m) dirt oval located just west of McCool Junction, Nebraska, along U.S. Route 81, approximately 10 miles south of York. Built new in 2003 at a cost of $2 million by owner Delmar Friesen, the facility offers seating for 4,000 spectators and hosts weekly Saturday night racing from March through October, sanctioned by the International Motor Contest Association.
