About Gulf Coast Kartway

Gulf Coast Kartway, operated by Gulf Coast Karters, Inc. (GCKI), is a member-owned, non-profit asphalt kart racing circuit located at 29726 Stockdick Road in Katy, Texas. Founded in 1970 and built on donated land in 1971, it is the longest-running professional go-kart track in the Houston area. The circuit features a 0.7-mile (approximately 1,127 m) paved road course with a 780-foot main straight and a mix of left- and right-hand corners. Engine classes include LO206, KA100, and Rotax Shifter; the track participates in the Greater Houston Race Series.
