About Fuji Speedway
Fuji Speedway (富士スピードウェイ) is a permanent motorsport road course situated in the eastern foothills of Mount Fuji in Oyama, Sunto District, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. Originally conceived as an American-style superspeedway and opened in January 1966, the facility is now owned and operated by Toyota Motor Corporation. The current 4.563 km, 16-turn layout, in use since a comprehensive 2005 redevelopment, hosts annual rounds of the FIA World Endurance Championship (6 Hours of Fuji), Super GT, Super Formula, and GT World Challenge Asia.
