About Bishopscourt
Bishopscourt Racing Circuit is a permanent motorsport facility situated on the former RAF Bishopscourt airfield near Ardglass, County Down, Northern Ireland. One of only two permanent racing circuits in the province, the site was commissioned by the RAF in 1941 and first used for motor racing in 1962. The circuit offers three configurations ranging from 2.38 km to 3.44 km and is the host of the prestigious Sunflower Trophy motorcycle race, which has attracted past winners including Joey Dunlop, Steve Hislop, and Jonathan Rea.
