About Bahrain Intl. Circuit

Bahrain International Circuit is a 5.412 km motorsports complex in Sakhir, Bahrain, designed by Hermann Tilke and opened in 2004 as the first Formula One venue in the Middle East. The FIA Grade 1 facility features 15 turns on its Grand Prix layout and six distinct track configurations including a drag strip and an oval. BIC hosts the annual Bahrain Formula One Grand Prix, FIA World Endurance Championship, Formula 2, and Formula 3 championships.
